One of the snapshots the match left was the gestures Arda Güler made when he was substituted in the second half. Although he started, the Turk didn’t like at all leaving the field early.

The episode occurred in the 65th minute, when Arbeloa decided to take him off the field and brought on César Palacios. When he saw his number on the electronic board, Güler looked incredulous, smiled, and left the field very quickly.

After the match, Real Madrid’s coach spoke about what happened with the midfielder and tried to play down the situation.

“I don’t know if there is any coach who has played Güler more than I have, I have trusted him since I arrived. I brought on Palacios because he is more used to doing the job Güler was doing today. Madrid have won, we have all won,” he stressed.
